A Skincare Brand Built to Own Its Name

Eliqsur's founder had a product ready to launch and a name too crowded to own. We renamed the brand so they could secure the trademarks and domains, then built the full identity, textured packaging, website and launch content, right down to the pitch decks that took it to market.

A new name they could actually own

Eliqsur's founder came to us with a product ready for the world and a name that could not carry it. In their niche the original name sat in a crowded field, too close to what was already out there to stand out or, more importantly, to protect. So the first job was a rename: we created something wholly its own, a name the founder could actually own, which cleared the way to secure the trademarks, the copyrights and the right domains for the brand. This was the start of a major brand identity design project, and a full launch to go with it, because a brand you cannot own is a brand you cannot defend.

A full identity, three directions, one system

This was a major project, and we built the brand from the ground up. We presented three distinct design directions for the founder to choose from, then developed the chosen route into a complete visual identity and a design system the team could keep using as the brand grows. Giving the founder three routes meant the final identity was a decision, not a guess. That system is what keeps everything consistent, so the same look carries from the packaging to the website to a single social post, and Eliqsur reads as one brand wherever someone meets it.

Packaging you can feel

The packaging was where the brand became physical. We designed the product packaging in full, and went further than the printed surface: we built texture experiences into the packaging itself, so that when you pick a product up, you can actually feel the design in your hand. That tactile detail is the kind of thing a customer never consciously notices and always remembers, the difference between packaging that looks premium and packaging that feels it.

A full-scale launch

Bringing a brand-new product to market takes far more than a logo, so we ran the whole launch. We designed and built Eliqsur a beautiful website, and produced the content to fill it and their channels: photography and videography across multiple shoots, shaped into a social media rollout that introduced the brand to the world. Every shoot fed the launch, so the brand arrived looking established from its first day. It was a full-scale launch, every piece made to the same standard, and we put our heart and soul into it.

Decks that took it to market

A launch also has to convince the people who sell and stock a product, so we gave the founder and the leadership the tools to pitch. We designed the slide decks and pitch decks they use to present Eliqsur, so that when management takes the brand into a room, the story looks as considered as the product inside the box. From a crowded old name to a brand with its own identity, its own packaging, its own website and its own pitch, this was work we are genuinely proud of, and a product we were glad to help bring into the world.

Common questions.

Why rename a brand before launching it?

Because a name you cannot own is a risk you carry forever. Eliqsur's original name was too crowded in its niche to stand out or protect, so we created a new one the founder could trademark, copyright and secure the domains for, then built the whole brand on it.

What goes into a full product launch?

Far more than a logo. For Eliqsur we handled the naming, the brand identity and design system, the product packaging, a website, photography and videography across multiple shoots, and a social media rollout, all as one launch.

Can packaging design be tactile?

Yes, and it changes how a product feels. For Eliqsur we built texture experiences into the packaging, so a customer can feel the design in their hand, which makes a product read as premium before they have even opened it.
